# logLevel

- **Type:** `'info' | 'warn' | 'error' | 'silent'`
- **Default:** `'info'`
- **Version:** `>= 1.4.0`

Sets the log level for the current Rsbuild instance.

:::tip
This option also affects Rsbuild's log output in the browser. You can override this behavior through the [client.logLevel](/config/dev/client.md#loglevel) option.

## Example

When `logLevel` is set to `warn`, Rsbuild only outputs warning and error logs:

```ts title="rsbuild.config.ts"
export default {
  logLevel: 'warn',
};
```

When `logLevel` is set to `error`, Rsbuild only outputs error logs:

```ts title="rsbuild.config.ts"
export default {
  logLevel: 'error',
};
```

## Optional values

- `info`: Output all logs.
- `warn`: Output warning and error logs.
- `error`: Output error logs.
- `silent`: Do not output any logs.
